About Dayanand Arya Vidyalaya, Mandi
INTRODUCTION
The School was started in 1944 as a Primary School in the premises of Arya Samaj Mandir. The School was patronised and run under the guidance of Late Swami Krishnanand and Late Sh. Dina Nath Vaidya, Advocate. The School was upgraded to Middle Level in 1980 and to High Level in 1984. Since the year 2002 it has been upgraded to Senior Secondary Level.
Presently the school is managed under patronage of Maharishi Dayanand Shiksha Parishad, a registered body. The school has the facilities to provide education in Science (Medical-Non Medical), Arts and Commerce streams.
AIM OF SCHOOL
It has been a long-standing endeavour of this Institution to impart quality education to the student. To achieve this objective the teachers provide academic excellence along with the development of individual student. Due emphasis is laid on formation of Character and dedication to the students. Besides, the school actively tries to imbibe the spirit of Vedic Philosophy in the day today life of student. The school lays due emphasis on the development of Individual Personality of the Student.
